Established in 1999 we are a Faith-Based, 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization assisting those in need throughout the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. We ARE NOT affiliated with any specific church or denomination as we are guided by the written Word of the Holy Bible and our belief that JESUS CHRIST is our Lord and Savior. That we are to serve one another as the Body of Christ. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our approach to providing assistance to the needy is NOT just writing checks. We believe in utilizing all available community resources to assist and educate those in need so they become self-sufficient and NOT dependent on government funded agencies for survival. Valley Christian Outreach DOES NOT accept any government funding. All of our support comes from friends like YOU in the community, Churches and other faith-based organizations. We believe in helping those in need to help themselves! |
